In typically modest fashion, Sharon Orridge seems to have forgotten to tell us that a) She was selected to run for England in the British and Irish Masters International Cross-country in Belfast last Saturday 17 th November and b) that she then WON the W40 class, finishing 5 th overall. Lantern Pike Fell Race - Saturday 15 Sep 2007

Race Details A cracking race of 5miles and 310 meters of climb, that is free to enter! With fantastic prizes, like this for the V50M. There is a high quality field; the race was won by Andi Jones (10th London Marathon) and third was last years winner, Jon Brown. I managed 20th overall, 1st V50 won with a very fast descent. The veg was grown and manured by race organisors and very nice they are too. What a refreshing change to the charity (£28) event on tomorrow in Nottingham:)
