Social Event ; Tram and Ale 1

Date: Friday 1st October The meeting Place: Wetherspoons Old Market Square (The trendy one in South Parade) Departure : 8.04pm Tram (stop next to pub) to Beaconsfield Street (Tramrider ticket £2 ) Pub 1 - The Frog and Onion - then Tram to Basford Pub 2 - The Fox and Crown - then Tram to Wilkinson Street Pub 3 - Horse & Groom Pub 4 - Lion Inn (live music) - then Tram back to town All serve fine ales Be there or be sober - C U Friday

Circuit Training Wednesdays

The scheduled session at Noel Street Leisure Centre on Wednesday at 7pm was cancelled because he new instructor fell and broken her ribs. They will be trying to find a replacement. Potential attendees are advised to call them on 9151545 before leaving for the Centre. I will keep you posted of developments.

Training and Racing 28 September - 3 October 2004 Tuesday 28 September - 6:30pm - TENNIS CENTRE 10 miles+ at a strong pace, possibly with efforts. Meet in the Cricketers, Beeston afterwards at 8pm, followed by a dinner at Yod Siam Thai Restaurant (round the corner) as Carmell is leaving. Contact Carmell to book your table if you have not already done so. Wednesday 29 September - 6pm - Tennis Centre, University Boulevard The Ken Allen-endorsed midweek longish run. An out-and-back to Holme Pierrepont returning via Beeston Lock. Meet at the Tennis Centre at 6pm. Check with Toni, Rich or Paul for run. Thursday 30 September - 6:30pm. Nottingham Tennis Centre for a 10 mile road run. Note that Trev's group are going to resume winter training on 7 October. Tuesday at the University or Embankment (long reps) and on Thursday, track sessions. For October the dates are Tues 5th, 19th, University...12th, 26th Embankment, 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th Track. Lovely Party Toni, Sunday run was different :)

Training and Racing 21 September - 28 September 2004 Tuesday 21 September - 6:30pm - Bramcote Leisure Centre 10 miles+ at a strong pace, possibly with efforts. Cossall and the Erewash Canal (all off-road). The reverse of the normal route. Neil will give a running commentary on the distance traveled and speed and the response will again be a chorus of "I can't believe that, you want to get rid of that you do".
