Saturday 10am 7 May 2004 An 8m - 9m easy run around the university and Wollaton Park, what a great way to start the day! Takes about an hour. Start from St. Leonards Drive opposite Wollaton Park gates .
Saturday 11am Mount Famine Fell Race 5m/1700ft. Please note that registration for this race is now NOT at the Scout Hut but at the Hayfield Recreation Ground, off Valley Road, at GR039869. The race is the same day as the Hayfield May Queen Procession, complete with fair, entertainments, etc. - in fact a good day out for the family. £3 on day only. Records: 40:01 G. NEW TRAINING VENUE (From February 2004): The new training schedule is open to everyone, no matter which club you belong to. The important thing is to train with a friendly, supportive group to the best of you ability. We offer training for fun-runners and International athletes. Come along and give it a try in a warm, safe, secure and modern sports center. There are showers and (£1, money returned) lockers to keep your kit safe. A bar, well priced cafe, sauna and fitness rooms make this a great venue. Training nights on Tuesday, Thursday and occasional Friday and Sunday, are from the reception of the Tennis Centre, University Boulevard, Nottingham: Tuesday 6:30pm 10m, 8m and 6m at varying paces, from beginner to speed merchant.
