Nottingham City Harriers was the name adopted by a group of runners at the end of 2003 who, upon resignation from a local athletics club, set up their own independent training sessions.

The numbers have dwindled over the years and traveling to training venues at rush hour has got ever more difficult with worsening traffic conditions. So it has been decided to end the informal group from 17th January 2018, the remaining individuals continuing in a private capacity.

Many thanks to the runners who have supported these sessions over the years but we hope to still see some of you from time to time in the future.

Trent 5M - Wed 10th June, 7:30pm.
Start and finish from the Siemens Sports Ground in Beeston Rylands, Nottingham, UK. Great UKA measured course along the Trent, good running surfaces. Great value - only £4 for affiliated runners, almost as cheap as a fell race (but much flatter) so even Gary may do it! Full details and entry form from the Beeston AC website. Please note this replaces the Notts AAA Summer league at Erewash which has now moved to June 17th.

Geoff s Group from the Tennis centre 6.15pm 14th April

Just a reminder my group is continuing at Tennis centre until end of April then joining the faster group at Bramcote. This is to accommodate one or two who have difficulty getting to Bramcote.

This Tuesday Mike is leading the group but from 21st I should be back.
