Lantern Pike Fell Race Saturday 16 May 2009

A great value race at £3 entry on the day with free food and drink at the finish. Remarkably friendly and well organised. Starts at the bottom of a steep wooded slope and the runners go up it like ascending a trench in the first world war! From then on it's runnable. Results
Aye up! Congratulations to Andy and Glennys on today's wedding. A short and sweet service in the Moravian Church in Ockbrook followed by a reception in the Royal Oak. An excellent time was had by all. PS For those of you with an obsession for value for money races, it was FREE entry, FREE food and as much FREE beer as you could drink!! (For everyone except Andy that is!)
