Nottingham City Harriers was the name adopted by a group of runners at the end of 2003 who, upon resignation from a local athletics club, set up their own independent training sessions.

The numbers have dwindled over the years and traveling to training venues at rush hour has got ever more difficult with worsening traffic conditions. So it has been decided to end the informal group from 17th January 2018, the remaining individuals continuing in a private capacity.

Many thanks to the runners who have supported these sessions over the years but we hope to still see some of you from time to time in the future.

Tuesday 19 April - 6:30pm - Bramcote Leisure Centre
10 mile run on a reasonably flat course. Thanks to Andy Tarry, we have an option to the Cossall route. This is a 9.75 mile route across country and the Erewash Canal. I will be doing 4 * 1 mile efforts at 5:45 min pace and 400m recovery between, for those that might be interested.

Thursday 21 April - 6:30pm - Bramcote Leisure Centre
8 mile run. I will be doing a 30 minute Heart Rate Fartlek at 70 - 85% RHR for those that are interested (the harder one!).

Saturday 23 April - 9:00am - St. Leonard's Drive, Wollaton (Park)
University and Park run of 1 hour.

Sunday 24 April - 9:00am - Tennis Centre.
