Intermediate Group break

No session on Tuesday's 17th, 24th and 31st December because of seasonal festivities. Season's greetings!. This group is suspended in the early part of the new year as I will not be running. The first session of 2014 will be posted and the e mail sent to regulars when the group recommences. I will continue to be point of contact for the fast group through the link on the right.

Structured Run - Tue 12th Nov 2013

Think it'll be a 10 miler on the Wollaton Route this week: http://connect.garmin.com/activity/26070537 Probably run straight through Beeston to Wollaton Rd to avoid the tram works. 6-4-2-1-1 mins x 2, half duration rest (i.e., 3-2-1-30s-30s), 3 mins between sets

Training and Racing: Tuesday 11 June - Wednesday 12 June 2013 Tuesday 11 June - 6:30pm Bramcote for a hilly 10.5m route to Swinegate and back close to Cossall. This is to celebrate Greg Crowley's successful Bob Graham Round last weekend and Neil and Gary will appreciate this leg loosener as they supported the run in the lakes :) Wednesday 12 June 2013- 7:15pm Summer League - Erewash (See diary on the right) Further Races Sunday 26 June 2013 Race: Kinder Trog, 16 miles from Hayfield (See diary on the right). This course is well marked, although you may need to navigate and you need to take full body cover, map, compass, hat, gloves and food.

Training and Racing: Tuesday 28 May 2013 Tuesday 28 May - 6:30pm Late change--due to the wet weather, we are just doing the standard 'Tin Bridge' route tonight--still flys' though. This is the same run as last Tuesday, although last Tuesday, I was the only one to do it, so it is back again this week. Take a moment to study the route. A 10 mile run from Bramcote out onto the Erewash Canal to Nottingham Canal, bring glasses, there may be flys!

BRAMCOTE NEXT TUESDAY--9 APRIL 2013

A 9.1 mile run from Bramcote out onto the  Erewash Canal over Toton sidings and back via Moor Bridge. Note there is no one leading the intermediate group. Hopefully this group will commence next week.

Intermediate Group - Tuesday 5th Feb 6.15pm Djanogly LC Gregory Boulevard

Last week it was good to have 5 runners in the group following the intermittent sessions held over the previous few weeks. It is intended to be regular weekly sessions going forward.  New and previous runners are welcome to join us;  no charges involved although the centre charges £1.10 if you want a shower afterwards. Meet in the foyer from 6pm for a steady 7 to 9 miles run. The route to be decided on the night.

Intermediate Group - Tuesday 22nd Jan

No official session this week but I hope to make a comeback on the 29th so regular sessions will resume then. Also, a couple of us are running from the small car-park at the West entrance to the University (Trev's group) for something faster and more rip-roaring. (Gary)

Tuesday 08 January - 6:30pm Tennis Centre for a 10 mile run on the  Wollaton route , efforts to be decided on the night but likely something along the lines of 4-5-6-5-4-3 mins off half duration recoveries Wednesday 09 January - 5:30pm  (start time flexible) Steady/progression run on the  lumpy town 11 Saturday 12 January - 6:30pm North Mids XC Race #4 - Cranwell Sunday 13 January - 8:30am/9:00am Anyone up for a run round Papplewick?  Perhaps meet at 8:30am for the Hucknall loop if you want to do 20/21 or else meet at 9am for the 17/18. Drop me a line and we can finalise start times.
