Training and Racing 21 December - 28 December 2004 Tuesday 21 December - 6:30pm - Tennis Centre (the water is back on for a hot shower) This week I'll be mostly..........running at a consistent pace. Aim to set off at 6.40 ish for the first mile (warm up), then running 6.30 - 6.20 for the rest, certainly no quicker than 6.10s. This week I'll most certainly not be................doing 4 miles at 7+ min miles, followed by 6 miles at break neck speed, interspersed with random 1/2 mile sprint reps. If my heart rate monitor shows 180, as it did last week, at any point, I will almost certainly implode, cluck like a chicken, and complete the run in the gymnastic crab position. Thursday 23 December - 6:00 pm - Nottingham Tennis Centre 7-8M, starting steady, finishing quick.
