Whilst the stalwarts were jogging round Swingate, the next generation were cutting their teeth at the Worthington 5 near East Midlands Airport. Joe and Max whipped round the 1.2mile fun run in 10th and 16th positions then the old man crawled round the 5 miler. It's a real grueler - the only circular course I've run that's uphill all the way! A veritable tarmac fell race. All in 26c temperatures.
A great village race starting and finishing at a real traditional Marstons pub. Worth another attempt when the temperature drops!
