Training Tuesday 28th September - Geoff's Group

As with the fastest group (see blog below) this also starts at 6 .30 pm from the Tennis Centre

This will be a 9 miles fartlek.

For those not in the know about the two groups; as a rough rule of thumb the main group doing the 10 miles at strong pace are for those whose times are below 37 -38 mins for 10k, 62 for 10 miles 85 mins half marathon or kick s**t out of assorted fells.

Geoff's group is for slower paced runners down to very roughly 50 mins 10K ,70 mins for 10m 105 mins half marathon and who would like to improve.

If any slower paced runners feel this is still to fast for them then a vacancy exists for anyone who will lead slower runners on a regular basis starting at the same time as the rest of us. If any one volunteers we will shout it from the rooftops as well as circulate by electronic means.

Training Tuesdays

Last night due to heavy traffic congestion I was late arriving at the Tennis Centre so apologies to anyone who gave up waiting. Also due to injury of key members the Bramcote run was cancelled at short notice so again apologies to anyone put out by the no shows. Going forward I am suspending the Tennis Centre sessions until January when hopefully the traffic may have eased slightly. The Bramcote group is also suspended until there is a compliment of regulars again. It will be announced on this blog.
