Tennis Centre for a 10 mile run on the Wollaton route. Some sort of unpleasantly hard efforts/threshold session.



Saturday 04 April - 9am
Wollaton Park easy 7.5 mile run for 1 hour, meet at St. Leonard's Avenue, Wollaton.

Sunday 05 April - 9am
Probably Papplewick for a 14, 18 or 21 mile run around the woods of North Notts - BUT make sure you check with whomever is running.

The Trent 5 miles. 10 June 2009, Wed, 7:30pm. Start and finish from the Siemens Sports Ground in Beeston Rylands, Nottingham, UK. Great UKA measured course along the Trent, good running surfaces. Great value - only £4 for affiliated runners, almost as cheap as a fell race (but much flatter) so even Gary may do it! Full details and entry form from the Beeston AC website. Please note this replaces the Notts AAA Summer league at Earwash which has now moved to June 17th

Last night due to heavy traffic congestion I was late arriving at the Tennis Centre so apologies to anyone who gave up waiting. Also due to injury of key members the Bramcote run was cancelled at short notice so again apologies to anyone put out by the no shows. Going forward I am suspending the Tennis Centre sessions until January when hopefully the traffic may have eased slightly. The Bramcote group is also suspended until there is a compliment of regulars again. It will be announced on this blog.
