HELP NEEDED
Dave Walsh (Redhill RR) is doing the Three Peaks Yacht Race on 28 June - 3 July 2008. This is a great chance to do a fantastic race and a good reason to kick the job into touch!

You sail from Barmouth, Wales on Saturday 28th June and the 'end of race party' is Thursday 3rd July. You won't be required to do anything on the boat (except rest & recover for the next leg), and need to do all 3 peaks.

Snowdon is 24 miles (16 of which on road), Scafell is 17 miles cycle then 18 miles fell running and 17 miles cycle back to Caernarfon. Ben Nevis is 17 miles (including 8+ miles of road).

Dave has all the kit, a competitive boat and crew. The team has a chance of a medal, both on the mountains and overall. Please either contact Gary or Dave Walsh if you are interested.

Training Tuesdays

Last night due to heavy traffic congestion I was late arriving at the Tennis Centre so apologies to anyone who gave up waiting. Also due to injury of key members the Bramcote run was cancelled at short notice so again apologies to anyone put out by the no shows. Going forward I am suspending the Tennis Centre sessions until January when hopefully the traffic may have eased slightly. The Bramcote group is also suspended until there is a compliment of regulars again. It will be announced on this blog.
