Training and Racing Tuesday 12 April - Sunday 17 April 2005
WE ARE AT OUR SUMMER TRAINING VENUE, BRAMCOTE LEISURE CENTRE, FROM THIS TUESDAY, 29 MARCH UNTIL OCTOBER. TRAINING SESSIONS WILL BE MAINLY OFF-ROAD (WEATHER DEPENDANT)

Tuesday 12 April - 6:30pm - Bramcote Leisure Centre
10 mile run on a reasonably flat course. Thanks to Andy Tarry, we have an option to the Cossall route. This is a 9.75 mile route across country and the Erewash Canal. If you want an alternate, please come up with one. :) I will be doing 4 * 1 mile efforts (85% RHR) and 400m recovery between, for those that might be interested.

Thursday 14 April - 6:30pm - Bramcote Leisure Centre
8 mile run. I will be doing a 30 minute Heart Rate Fartlek at 70 - 85% RHR for those that are interested (the harder one!). Rob, if you want to do the Farlek session and no others are going to turn up (London Marathon this weekend!) I could meet at Trent Bridge.

Saturday 16 April - 9:00am - St. Leonard's Drive, Wollaton (Park)
University and Park run of 1 hour.

Sunday 10 April - 6:45am - Tennis Centre. Note very early start time!
Long Run of 16 miles to Colwick Park and Holme Pierrepont from my flat, at the bottom, near the glass atrium.

at Apartment 16, King's Court, Commerce Sqare, The Lace Market, Nottingham, NG1 1HS. The run starts at 6:45am so that we can watch the London Marathon. I will provide a breakfast of Bacon, Eggs and coffee. For our Antipodean and USA friends no-fat runners gunk may be available! You are all welcome, give me notice if you have not already, so that I can get lots of food and Coffee!

Training Tuesdays

Last night due to heavy traffic congestion I was late arriving at the Tennis Centre so apologies to anyone who gave up waiting. Also due to injury of key members the Bramcote run was cancelled at short notice so again apologies to anyone put out by the no shows. Going forward I am suspending the Tennis Centre sessions until January when hopefully the traffic may have eased slightly. The Bramcote group is also suspended until there is a compliment of regulars again. It will be announced on this blog.
