Looks like the Tennis Centre will be unavailable from 14 - 19 June as the Nottingham Open is on during those dates - we'll arrange an alternative meeting point during that week - it's looking like a run from Kimberley on Tuesday 14th June - we'll keep you posted.

Wednesday 2nd June - 6:30pm - Tennis Centre, University Boulevard
I'll be doing 13-14M from Beeston out towards Holme Pierrpont. I'm happy to meet up in Beeston or drop by the Tennis Centre if anyone is interested, it'll be ~11M from the TC. If I don't hear anything from anyone I'll probably set off earlier ~5:30 - 6 pm.

Thursday 3rd June - 6:30pm - Tennis Centre, University Boulevard or Wollaton Park Lake
1. Meet @ Tennis Centre @ 6:30pm.
or
2. Trevor's session - meet @ Wollaton Pk. Lake @ 6:30pm for 7pm session - likely 6 x 800m off 60-90 sec recovery.

Friday 4th June - 7:15pm - Holme Pierrepont Watersports Centre
Notts 10M a.k.a. The Lord Elliott Classic.

Saturday 5th June - 10 a.m., St. Leonards Drive (across from main exit from Wollaton Park)
8M easy/steady pace round Wollaton Park / University grounds.

Sunday 6th June - 9 a.m. Tennis Ctr.
I'm planning on ~17M, leaving from the Tennis Centre - let me know if you're interested.

Tuesday 8th June - 6:30pm - Tennis Centre, University Boulevard

No more training sessions

It was decided by the regular members of the training group at a meeting last night, the group will not be running any more under the NCH heading, merely as runners in a private capacity. The regular numbers have dwindled and the worsening congestion on Nottingham roads are among the reasons for this decision. So after just over 14 years the advertised Tuesday sessions have now ended.

Training Tuesdays

Last night due to heavy traffic congestion I was late arriving at the Tennis Centre so apologies to anyone who gave up waiting. Also due to injury of key members the Bramcote run was cancelled at short notice so again apologies to anyone put out by the no shows. Going forward I am suspending the Tennis Centre sessions until January when hopefully the traffic may have eased slightly. The Bramcote group is also suspended until there is a compliment of regulars again. It will be announced on this blog.
