Nottingham City Harriers was the name adopted by a group of runners at the end of 2003 who, upon resignation from a local athletics club, set up their own independent training sessions.

The numbers have dwindled over the years and traveling to training venues at rush hour has got ever more difficult with worsening traffic conditions. So it has been decided to end the informal group from 17th January 2018, the remaining individuals continuing in a private capacity.

Many thanks to the runners who have supported these sessions over the years but we hope to still see some of you from time to time in the future.

Wednesday 12th May - Midweek Fell Race / Midweek Longish Run
1. Race in Lyme Park - ask Carmel for details.
2. I'll be doing about 13M from Beeston, heading out towards Holme Pierrepont via the Tennis Centre (it's about 11M roundtrip from the Tennis Centre) - if anyone fancies this, let me know, otherwise I'll probably set off a bit early (~5:30pm).

Thursday 13th May - 6:30pm - Tennis Centre, University Boulevard or Bramcote Park
Couple of options:
1. Meet @ Tennis Centre @ 6:30pm.
2. Trevor's session - meet @ Bramcote Pk. (cnr. of Ilkeston Rd. and Coventry Lane) @ 6:30pm for 7pm session - if last week was anything to go by then probably 8 x 600m off 60-90 sec recovery.

Saturday 15th May - 10 a.m., St. Leonards Drive (across from main exit from Wollaton Park)
1. 8M easy/steady pace round Wollaton Park / University grounds.
2. Gary & Simon are doing: A reccy of the Bob Graham Round (bits of)
