Merry Christmas and Happy New Year . Next year we will be planning the races we do and the training required to do well in them. We already have a couple of marathons to work with, Nottingham and London, so that means long runs THROUGHOUT THE YEAR! We are also training for Nice half and Chamonix. So pick those races and plan that programme; I can't wait! Whilst you are waiting for Santa to call why not get those stinky trainers out and give them the treatment. Here are some solutions from our climbing friends: You can try putting them into a freezer for a couple of days. The cold temps may kill the offending bacteria. antibacterial spray, selling it cheap at rock & run clean the smell by bunging them in a bag with some of those bath bomb things shoved inside. I've found a spray of Boot's anti-odour/fungal after each use can be reasonably effective. I now find the best remedy is to dry them out when you get back, stick each one in it's own Tesco's bag and tie th...
